Mindfulness and Creativity Course | Clare Barton-Harvey

mindfulness and creativity

Our focus for these workshops is on the relationship of mindfulness as a support for creativity. We’ll identify some common obstacles to creativity and a range of ways of working with and through them. These are great workshops to liberate, inspire and release limiting views and attitudes.

‘One way to open your eyes is to ask yourself, “What is I had never seen this before? What if I knew that I would never see it again?”’

- RACHEL CARSON

As a beginner, I specifically appreciated mixing the mindfulness approach with the practice of art. I’ve learned new techniques to draw more confidently and spontaneously, notably starting to get rid of the judging mind. Highly recommended!

I would recommend these classes to anyone who is curious about approaching drawing for the first time as well as those who would like to explore taking their work in new directions and with fresh curiosity.
