1 DAY IN-PERSON WORKSHOP
An introduction to drawing and mindfulness and how when practised together they can support greater confidence and creativity in drawing. Through a variety of guided exercises, explore how the two disciplines relate and how each can enrich the other. This course is suitable for beginners to drawing and/or mindfulness.

What is the workshop about?
An introduction to and exploration of the practice of drawing and mindfulness. Through a variety of guided exercises, including drawing from observation and the imagination, you will explore how engaging mindfulness with drawing can help you to develop drawing skills, support confidence and stimulate a light/playful, yet wholehearted engagement. This workshop is studio-based and is fully accessible by wheelchair.
What will we cover?
- An introduction to drawing and mindfulness.
- Explore ways that mindfulness can stimulate different ways of drawing and new ways of seeing.
- A series of playful and exploratory guided drawing exercises from observation and imagination.
- A range of mindfulness themes to stimulate and inspire your creativity.
